The Workhorse Monitor is Teledyne RD Instruments™ most popular direct-reading Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler. The unit is typically bottom frame-mounted and hard-wired to shore to provide real-time monitoring of coastal currents. This Workhorse Monitor's high data accuracy and reliability make it a favorite for deployments in high-volume traffic areas such as ports and harbors, where the data is often integrated into a Vessel Traffic Monitoring System.

WEATHER STATION
Station for the measurement of oceanographic and meteorological parameters with satellite, radio or cellular data transmission. It can be attached to an bottom mounted ADCP by an electromechanical cable or an acoustic modem. The ADCP can be configured for current profile measurement as well as tide level and waves.

Buoy for measuring oceanographic and meteorological parameters with satellite, radio or cellular data transmission. It can be coupled to an ADCP in the background by an electromechanical cable transmitting the data in the same way. The ADCP can be configured for current profile measurement as well as tide and wave level.

Hydro-Float™ Mooring Booms
DeepWater buoyancy buoys are more versatile and reliable than conventional glass or hollow metal floats. These buoys can be molded with transverse holes and instrumentation pockets on any shaft without compromising its strength due to its solid construction. Clamps and mounting hardware can be added to any instrumentation provided by the user.

salinometer
The 8400B Salinometer employs a unique continuous flow system where the sample water is drawn under low air pressure from the original sample vial. The high temperature stability control of the bath and heat exchanger keeps the sample at precisely the set temperature during analysis, avoiding the need for compensation. Accuracy greater than 0.002 Equivalent Units of Practical Salinity (PSU) achieves improvements in bath temperature stability.

Trawl-Resistant Bottom Mounts
These mounts can be deployed by free fall, by a diver or by an ROV. They feature a double-shaft drive shaft inside a floating recovery capsule, and are designed to allow recovery of all mounted instruments. An optional Spectra line pack can be provided for the recovery of the base for rotating installations. Our TRBMs are available in depths of over 500 meters. We also offer disposable concrete bases.
